Champagne/Wine glass storage

I'm really hoping that someone out there can help me. I know what i'm looking for, but I can't find it anywhere. I had my daughter christened last August and had to buy lots of glasses for the guests, the problem is, I now need my spare room back! I know i've seen storage boxes in the past and they have separators in them to stop the glasses from banging together. Anyone please know where on earth to find them and what they are called?

Thanks scottishminnie, those are the ones. I didn't realise how much they cost! I wonder if I can find them cheaper anywhere else? Tried searching ebay, but keep coming up with all sorts of things, pretty much everything but the one thing I want.... as usual! x

You could also hang them upside down (as they do in pubs and bars) using those chrome or stainless racks. These give quite good protection in my experience.

It's a good idea. They are only cheap supermarket champagne and wine glasses. I'm thinking of the wrapping them in newspaper, putting them in a box and putting them up in the attic until they are needed next. Seems like the boxes I was wanting to buy are about £20 a piece, which isn't worth it when you consider the glasses are probably only worth about that.

you should be able to get a big roll of bubble wrap for a few pounds and if you buy one or two of the plastic crate type boxes from Tesco or B and Q that should provide good enough protection. The only difference is you will need to unwrap when you next use them but for the sake of spending £20+ per box it seems worthwhile.

if you ask in the fruit section in the supermarkets, you can usually get bubblewrap for free :)
