yep, gonna be a hot one here too. Nice and cool inside at the front of the house, I've got until around 4pm sitting here working and then it will start to get hot at the front.

Scaredy - last night you asked about proof of JSA for token payments - I would send them a copy of your award letter.

Feel like sshhiite with my hayfever.

Me too, and I have coldsores from hell and my hands have broken out in sun allergy blisters.........I love the summer but it doesnt love me back:mad:

BB which type of anti allergy tablets do you take? I get drowsy with even the non drowsy ones and was just wondering which ones work for you?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I take the generic Zirtek ones - Cetirizine hydrocholoride. I managed to get 9 months supply for 28p per box. I rememeber when Zirtek was first available over the counter in the chemist - it was £7 for a weeks supply!

How are you with these? If you've not tried them let me know your address, I'll pop you a months supply in the post.

I can't take Piriton, they make me drowsy, although I feel drowsy now but I think it's because I feel rough. I slept very heavily on my right hand side and it feels like I have a black eye.

I find Benadryl is good, but there is no generic equivalent so they work out very dear for the 3 months or so I take them, Ifind the easiest thing is to just not go out! Dorset seems to be a problem for me in particular, other parts of the country aren't so bad and I don't suffer abroad at all. Apparently it is because of a high number of pine trees here in the heathland.

You sound lovely today Lou! Btw, I have fallen in love with Northumberland.

I take cetrizine hydrochloride (Piriteze) for hay-fever this time of year, dont buy it as Piriteze tho' I get 'Galpharm Hayfever and AllergyRelief' from Superdrug and its only about £1 a week then ( not £4 with branded).

Later on, when the trees have stopped their pollen onslaught I switch to Luffa Complex or Allium (onion seed homeopathic pills ) this seems to work for me as it MUST be non-drowsy for obvious reasons.

BB, where did you find them at 28p a box? Both me and DD are really suffering at the moment
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
