Where can i get free business cards please for my charity

I work as an insurance arranger for Age Concern and really need some business cards. Only problem is as we are a charity the budget will not allow it. I hear you can sometimes get free business cards as the company hope you will happily pay for the next order but there is no obligation. Does anyone know where I could find such a site please?

As we are regulated by the FSA I need to have the ability to put a FSA statement on the back.

Thank you for all your help

Good luck, some of the "free" ones may have the suppliers name on the back - a way of advertising. The free ones may be produced on thinner card

Vistaprint I believe put their own advertising on the back, so would be no good if you need the FSA statement on the back.

You could try approaching a small local printing company and see if they can give you a good deal, perhaps say that they can put their own logo on the cards. I doubt they'll do it completely free though, but you might get a nice discount if you present your case well. I use to work for a small printing shop and we would occasionally do a good deal for someone in your situation.

I print my personal cards at home. Stationary shops do special business card paper which actually looks quite professional as it's pre cut. Not sure you'd be able to print on the back of the ones I've got though, but it could be worth a look.

If you can find a way of having the FSA statement on the front it might make it easier for you!

If you get the vistaprint 'premium' cards these are free of advertising on the back - My last offer was 250 'free premium cards' - it costs a couple of quid if you want to print details on the back ( plus the postage) -

The best way is to go onto the vistaprint website and sign up, then wait for the 'occasional emails' - (By occasional I mean at least one ever 2 -3 days but thats what spam filters are for)

Combining offers / not checking out then going back in following another 'bargain email' can get you some great deals.

    My last purchase was
    10 Fridge Magnets
500 Premium business cards -1 design
    250 premium cards different design
    2 'silver' business card holders

Total cost less than £6 delivered -

  • Yes, I've used Vistaprint and haven't got any of their advertising on the back. I think it was the premium cards but still very cheap. On one order the colour wasn't as good as a previous order and when I told them about it, they sent another order free of charge which I thought was good customer service. You do get loads of emails from them but I think the service and printing is good.

and of course if you sign-up via one of the cashback sites the cost can be nothing.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
