Not in my local. I tried to use last week's and after a long discussion at Customer Services, the upshot was that they will only take the conditional spend and save vouchers that are posted out to you and not the ones from the newspapers.

Whether that's right or wrong, I don't know but they were adamant. So I think the message is it's rather store-dependent.

I'd rather just use mine in Waitrose.

Your final sentence tells us why your local Tesco store was wrong to refuse it.

It's a national policy for Tesco to accept conditional spend coupons, there is not supposed to be any Store Manager discretion (the above post shows just how stupid a Store Manager would have to be to refuse in the current financial climate!).

So I will stick my neck out and say 'yes' this coupon CAN be used in any Tesco (except the Tesco near where2save!). And where2save you could send your receipt and voucher off to Dundee* HO for a gift card refund instead, they are supposed to honour these, and they are better than the Morrisons ones because at least they scan properly.
