My children's primary school have this. Parents donate old uniform for free, other parents buy it cheap, all profits go to PTA. :money:A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

Hi,
i am appalled at the post from sweetpea, stating that her DDs school feels that there is no call for a uniform sale at their school. My son goes to a school where the parents are VERY well off but they have a second hand sale every year which is vey well attended and which raises money for the school, or their designated charity. Maybe this is why the parents are Very well off though!!!!0 -
My children's primary school has a second hand clothes shop. It's run by one of the mums, outgrown clothes are donated along with unclaimed lost property. These are then sold really cheaply depending on condition 50p - £2. All proceeds go to school funds. Shop is open a couple of days a term after school, and when ever the school is open eg parents evenings etc0
