Bank refusing token payment

To cut a long story short I owe a lot of money to my bank for a loan, credit card and overdraft, I am working through my problems with CCCS who advised me to send token payments to the bank. I contacted the bank to find out where to send the token payments to and they said to post the payment to my branch which I did, with a letter explaining exactly what these payments were for. They have paid the token payments into my current account and are now refusing to move the payments saying that they don't accept token payments, its payment in full or nothing and have told me not to send in any token payments as they will just pay them into my current account again.
Have spoken to the bank again today and am not getting anywhere, don't know what else to do apart from sending payment recorded delivery so that I have proof that I have made these token payments????????
Have also asked for a payment book and they have said they don't do this!!!!

Have you spoken to CCS about this? They may be able to offer you advice.

Sorry to see things are not going too well at the moment :grouphug: but it will get better.

Recorded delivery, yes, then if it goes to court you have proof also the letter that refuses to accept token payment will go against them, they will keep applying interest no matter what you do,and if it goes to court you lose credit rating, but it is being affected now any how. They will not want it to go to court because you can then have a means tested payment scheme and they would not want that, build up a case in so much that you have made every effort, make appointment to meet ,log it,Show that you are willing and they will lose, but you must keep all records and show that they are being unreasonable, which they are.

    Debt-free and Proud!
The way we sorted this was to go into the bank, hand over credit card and ask to put the payment onto it,then hand over loan account number and do the same, then put the rest into the bank.Make sure you ask for receipts and the money goes where it is meant to
    Good luck.
