I decided to buy my mum and dad a hammock (with a wooden stand) for their wedding anniversary this year. Had a scout around and found www.hammockheaven.co.uk.
Not the best looking web site in the world, by any means - but had exactly what I wanted. I rang the number provided to check stock availability at about 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday evening. I got the feeling the guy wasn't really at work (and rightly so, I was expecting an answerphone!), but he answered the call anyway and was very helpful.
Placed the order about 6pm B/H Monday and the hammock was in my parent's garden by lunchtime on the Wednesday. They say it's fabulous quality and was easy to assemble - I haven't seen it yet, but will do this weekend. I followed the parcel with the FedEX tracking site and everything worked perfectly.
Let's hope we get a decent summer so they can use it a lot! :cool:
