Getting a bit fed up now

Took the "responsible" decision and Nov 2008 had a vasectomy.

16 weeks and 20 weeks later provided samples as requested

Result? NOT CLEAR.

You'll have to provide another 2 samples Sir

Provided those 2 samples again, as requested

Result ? NOT CLEAR

Guess what? More samples and likelihood of being "snipped" again !!

Charming eh ?

Better than the alternative ... I know someone who 'didn't realise' that he and his wife needed to use alternative contraceptive methods until he was able to provide samples to show he was firing blanks, and guess what! :rotfl:

This happened to my husbnad and I. We were very careful about using alternatives until the all clear. He paid to go private and got the second snip free. The problem to bear in mind is that a second op is very hard to reverse (if you chose to) as they may use a different method to acheive the desired result:)

Finally thought he all clear came through and things couldn't e better. No more worrying, no more irritable wife cause of the pill and spontaneous "relations" whenever you like. it is worth it in the end!

when my husband had his done it took a long time before he was all clear. It did happen eventually and he didn't need another op.

    That's what I said to the wife !!! :D:D:D

Funny thing is (I kid you not). The surgeon/doctor that did the op. There I was with my jewels exposed, I glanced a look at his name on his badge. You know what his name was (no joking)

    BUTCHER !!!

Can you imagine what went through my mind !!:eek::eek::eek:

It does take a while to clear the pipes as it were.
Hang on in there until you get the all clear, I had to submit 3 tests before getting the all clear, which was like a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders.

Wont be long and you will soon be celebrating your jaffa status.
  • Thanks DKLS - Hope so

My DH had to send back more than 2 samples required eventually got the all clear. Unfortunately I wasn't happy to to 'assist' until I knew he had the all clear, he blamed me!
