I was waiting as the doors opened this morning in my local store, not one £9.99 gift to be seen & not many others either. There was 4 pink travel cosmetic/bags at £4.99,the rest were from £2.99 down, mugs etc. Therefore the £9.99 gifts never existed in my shop,or they were "taken" before opening ???.

    just got back from superdrug

T&Cs state one voucher per transaction but the staff were happy to accept multiple vouchers...

the £4.99 bags are the ones which are "worth £9.99" as the £4.99 price is a half price offer...if you know what i mean?

    Thanks to OP :)

  • Well to get 4 children, up, dressed and fed before 9am wasn't easy this morning but I did it and off we went to Tescos to get my copies of the Sun. (went to Tescos to get clubcard points and use money off vouchers). Got to Superdrug at 9.15am and the lady behind the counter guided the children to the display. Armed with 4 vouchers one each they chose their free gifts for mother's day. I also got 2 for my mum - a funky mum pampering kit containing a shower cap, 4 rose candles and 6 love heart bath fizzers which would have cost £2.49 and a Funky mum footcare kit which was priced at £1.99 but free today that contained in a little metal case: moisturising foot socks, toe seperators, 50ml luxury foot lotion and funky emery boards.

No sign of the £9.99 gifts but the SA explained that at 9am there was a huge queue outside her store so the majority of the items had gone. Never mind, I am pleased with my freebies and the kiddies have hidden away theirs.
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)

Went down with both my sons, they got me a pressie each, and I got one for MIL. Youngest picked up this big plastic bag (ok for the beach) with body scrub (200ml) shower gel (200ml) body spray (250ml) body lotion (200ml) a flannel and a white silky eye mask. Originally 9.99, 1/3 off so it was 6.66 and all for 55p. Well worth it. The other son got a pink box with stuff in it, he has taken it to his room so I am not sure what is in it - but it is body stuff. MIL doesn't have a bath, only a shower, so I was restricted in what I could get for her so I got her a little suitcase thing with foot lotion, socks to help the lotion sink in, foot files shaped like feet, and toe seperators. Well worth getting there early.
Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j

I was unlucky in my quest - having a broken arm and 2 babies to get up and out - the shelves were empty when i got there! never mind have just sent OH off to sort out the pressies for the Grandmas. but i did get a bootiful fresh flower display from my equally bootiful mum as a sorry-for-your-arm/birthday/mother's day gift. how i love her!
