:j Am going to view the house i was talking about tomorrow, on the market for just shy of 80k. It last sold in 2004 for 82,500 as I have checked online.
Have done sums and had discussions with parentals, and we think it's at least worth a look.
Have also been looking online at Natwest morgage offers for FTB. [90% LTV, fixed rate for 5yrs, repayments for 25yrs [436 a mnth] or 30yrs [469 a mnth]. Also worked out council tax, aproximate bills etc.
Am really excited, although trying to keep myself calm as nothing might come of it. But it finally feels like we are getting somewhere slowly! :T

Do you bank with the Natwest ?
You need to go in and see if you can get a mortgage and how much they will lend ( ask mum & dad if they will act as guarantors)
You need a AIP ( mortgage offer from Natwest)
Best to know what you can afford before viewing houses!
