Credit Scoring for mortgage

Options
Hi

I have a mortgage at the moment of 192k on a property that I am selling for 265k and am looking to buy the next property for 350k so have spoken to my current mortgage provider (Nationwide) about the additional borrowing which they have said is fine based on my wage etc but they have not yet credit checked me. I have checked on Experian and my rating is only 564 which I can see being a problem, is there any chance I will get the mortgage with a rating that low? its always been 790+ previously so have never had any problems but its now droppped

    Hi,
We took out a new mortgage with this lot in march. We have now sold and want to buy a house at half the price. They credit scored us and as we only took out a new mortgage a couple of months ago our score was poor and so they declined us! I have now appealed but this can take 6 weeks so just be careful.
