    got a withheld one at about 7pm which was ITV telling me I'd won a Cd..


    So are the ITV calls now from a withheld???

    Thank you for agreeing with me, I really thought perhaps I was being a bit off about it. We can barely manage on the money we have coming in as it is now especially seeing as we're saving madly to go to Florida next year which is not an easy task.


    no I don't think you are off - it is a tough call but you shouldn't have to get a loan and risk your own credit etc

    I persoally think it is going to be either Diversity or Flawless...they are outsiders in the bookies...so I might put a bet on them :D:o

    Right everyone, a break from me till about 12 (only then I will open the wine) I am shaking with panic again :( better go do some work to feel better!!!

    I'm with you on this one - you're just about coping now but what happens if nan HAS to go into care home and her house has to be sold to pay for that, or if, God forbid, your OH is taken ill or work dries up,...you'll still be be paying for a loan that you can't really afford. Do you feel that your OH has been 'guilted' by his family into taking out a loan - after all it wasn't discussed with you and you're supposed to be his 'immediate' family now.

    Maybe worth looking out in local ads/ebay/freecycle for kitchen units - might be able to pick up something suitable and fit it yourselves.......

    I would personally be very annoyed that he didn't even think to discuss it with me before agreeing to a major financial decision. As far as I can see you're the only ones taking any risks.
