depends what you consider too far away gert. we took our baby (13 week) and nephew (4) to blackpool zoo the other day it was a lovely day out! not exactly cheap, but the nephew loved seeing the sealions performing and giraffe feeds etc............... :A.............0

Well seen as OH has just got up to use the loo and is now snoring again - travel will have to be close close! Will probably end up scouring the local car boots...hmmm! morning everyone.
hubby and kids still in bed so decided to sneak down for a cuppa in peace & quiet before they all wake up and start nattering for breakfast.
weather not too bad here, little bit windy but the sun is trying to break trhough.
food shop for me today and going to sort through my clothes, I have loads that are too big now so will go through them all and pass onto my friends/charity shop.:wave:0 -

if the weather fails to impress, kids can always be easily entertained with crafting- hand/footprint pictures, collage making, making monsters from rubbish... let them entertain themselves for the day! whack some newspaper down and let them free.............. :A.............0

I did Diva but OH came home a couple of days ago and told me he has to work next weekend now and it's not something he can get out of
There's always next year anyway and if all this goes well he can bloody well buy them for me so I know I'm going
If my name does come out though or I get some from any of the comps, I'll be passing them to you unless you get some from somewhere else
