My postie is OK, he always rings but only gives you a short time to get to the door otherwise he's off!! He has me so flustered sometimes looking for the door key!
He does have a bad habit of leaving stuff on the doorstep if you don't answer though. I'm sure I've lost some prizes because of this. He did this the other week when we were on holiday, luckily one of our neighbours picked it up for us, but that's not the point.

you can make a complaint online - my postie never range either so I complained as half the time he didn't even leave a red card (only found out when I went to sorting office to collect something and there was other stuff there for me too :mad:) Since then he rings all the time and now he know that I'm always in

anyone have any idea what's going on in Liverpool today?

They've just closed the bottom of our road (not that they told us that they were going to do this!) and we live on a one way street so not sure how we're meant to get out....

There are lots of people in yellow jackets and I know that they are closing the main road tomorrow for the Lord Major's Pageant but have no idea what's going on today

Luckily we weren't planning on driving anywhere!

Meh Ok I'm being stupid and got my dates mixed up. Just realised it's the 6th today so Lord Major's Pageant is today but still didn't know they were closing our road.

Oh well it's raining - I'm staying inside!

That's a shame, that it's raining for the pageant. It's very wet here too, even the dog took one look and ran back inside!!

typical really as it sounds like it would be quite good to watch. If they changed their route by about 50m I could see it from where I'm sitting now but I'm not that bothered really. I was going to say I'm surprised about the lack of information to local residents by the council but I guess I shouldn't be.. :rolleyes:

OH paying for that (am skint now) but I think I have some credit on my Cafe card so might buy him so breakfast instead...just can't get myself to get ready and go out....
