Just used the 50p off carling (sun) in my local tescos metro with no problems. Didn't try any others and forgot to look for the free pack of walkers crisps but don't like them anyway!! HTH

plus i went to tesco for my weekly shop with all of todays coupons
from the sun except the £1 cider and eurodrink coupons,and they all scanned ok,and the crisps are on offer 2 packets for £2 so it only
cost 75p for the second pack of 6.

As chance would have it, last night was about the first time ever I was awake after 3 a.m and had a fresh copy of the Daily Record in my hand. I was politely waiting for you to start the thread so I could chip in (whilst posting on other threads)......and ended up falling asleep in my chair!:rotfl:

Have a nice holiday, you deserve it for your effort on this thread, which I'm sure has helped many people.

I bought two copies of the Sun, and used the vouchers inside to buy two packets of the free crisps. The cashier took two vouchers in the same shop, and I saved another 50p on the rest of my shopping as the crisps are on offer, though there wasn't a sign instore. :j

Also I would seriously reconsider going to Sri Lanka as it is a bit of a warzone at the minute.

Can you not get at least a partial refund?

The Walkers voucher states one coupon per item purchased so you could pick up as many as you wanted as long as you had the right number of coupons

Just received an email from the Times. Tomorrow (Saturday) in the Times there will be a £5 off £30 spend at Waitrose. Better than the £50 spend that appeared recently. Valid to 6th June.

Sri Lanka fine's - been 6 times before - no problems, wouldn't even dream of not going.

4th visit was just a week after shots were fired at the airport and some mortar rounds destroyed 4 or 5 airliners parked up outside the hangars, so no worries at all.
