free recycling bins????

does anyone know where i can get some free or very cheap recycling bins? i want some of the ones with lids on, i know i sound fussy lol but i have a toddler so need ones that he isnt going to be able to get into.

Have you tried your local council? They usually supply them if they are going to collect. If your looking for ones to take to the recycle centre yourself then try Wilkinson. They do plastic boxes with lids for £3-£5 and they also do recycle bags. You could always try supermarkets or resturants as sometimes their meat and veg come in plastic boxes that get thrown away.0 -
Or join your local freecycle, that is where I got two, free.0
