Four ebay sales last night totalling a smidge over £18 and I've got my co-op membership vouchers through the post today - £19 I should get the boyf to use my card every time he buys his work supplies, would get me a bit more then!

Vouchers are going to be uber handy since we're planning camping tomorrow and were going to go pick up supplies from le coop tonight anyway (apart from that I'm not having a fantastic day though!)

I've still got items on ebay and whatnot so I'm not stopping but I'm not going to up my target at all - just see what I manage to bring in

The bride keeps dropping hints at work, like ’oh you lot better not be tight with my wedding money’ (I nearly fell over when she said that!)… and when I picked her a sandwich up from the shop the other day she was like ’I’d better give you the money back for that, don’t want you taking it out of my wedding pressie!’. I wouldn’t mind but they’ve only invited us to the night do, yet they still put a note in with the evening invitations asking for money. Feel pressured to give more than we can really afford now, as I know she will judge people on how much they give Also have to pay £80 to the Law Society before I can start my uni course in Sept, and just had to spend £120 on new glasses for driving too, argh! I should actually get half of the cost of the frames back which is nice (was doing a mystery shop) - but my stupid eyes need expensive lenses, which I don‘t think I can claim for. I didn’t ask to be short sighted and blind as a bat, so it adds insult to injury to pay £120 for the pleasure Sorry for the rant…it’s just was actually feeling quite positive when I looked at my bank balance after getting paid last week, and now it’s back to a big fat zero again, booooo! Oh well, perhaps it will motivate me. Must try harder!

hi glitterjunkie, only just had time to start reading and spotted your post, probably too late now (!) but next time maybe suggest that everyone at work puts their money together and give as a lump sum. That way you can give an amount you're comfortable with and the recipient doesn't have to know the individual amounts.
Apologies if this was already suggested, I am still working my way through the posts!! :rotfl:

£10 scratchcard money has been received in my account today - off to add it to my signature.....I am almost there!! If my dooyoo cheque arrives before Wednesday, I will have hit target, otherwise, I may be just shy but with a good start to July instead......horses for courses!!
