The Free Lions England Fans’ Guide to Germany 2006
The Free Lions England Fans’ Guide to Germany 2006 is now available, completely free of charge, to England fans wanting to plan their trip to the World Cup this summer.
The 150-page, full colour guide book has been prepared by the Football Supporters’ Federation as part of the Nationwide FSF Fans’ Embassy service – the people who produce the Free Lions fanzine so familiar to regular travellers with the England team.
The book contains all the essential guide information of the type found on this website, and has been supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Home Office and the Football Association. Nonetheless, it remains an independent “by fans, for fans” book, researched and compiled by England supporters.
100,000 copies of the book are being provided for England supporters from March 1st 2006. The Football Association is arranging to send a copy to each member of their englandfans+ ticketing scheme, but every England fan can get hold of a copy thanks to the Nationwide Building Society, who are making them available in their branches throughout England on a first come, first served basis – one copy per person.

Thanks, I picked one up at lunchtime. Particularly useful if you're travelling to the games, plenty of local info in there.
Booklet is headed Free Lions and at the bottom it says England Fans' Guide to Germany 2006. 146 pages A5 size.
Took the branch a while to find it so this info may help.0 -

Thanks alot - just collected one.
Probably one of the best freebies I've had! My three (hubby and two sons) will love it, especially DH who is planning a trip over there.0
