Joint bank account

I have a joint bank account with my partner which has not been used since last October when all direct debits were cancelled. Unfortunately there is a negative balance of £900 in it, which is a culmination of the bank paying d.d's when they had been told to cancel and charges etc - do I include this or just sort it out myself? Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

You can include it, but the debt automatically falls to your partner if it's just you going bankrupt and they will chase for it.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Glad to help. And remember, one step at a time - printing off the forms is another step completed, well done
