Im back!!! Have you missed me ladies?

Its my cousins christening in a few weeks and I thought Id do a cake.

I did one when she was born (a year ago) though, so need to make sure its different.

Im not really into the silver things you give at christening, so unsure what I can add to make it more different?

Hi, how about a coin or coins minted the year she was born? Or a silver sixpence piece - for luck (I've bought a couple of these on ebay). Could name a star and print the certificate... http://www.freenameastar.com/register.php

Love all your cakes ladies :D

The layers sit on top of each other, some of the stuff can be slightly pushed between the nappies to make a better hold, when cello wrapped things dont generally move.

Put the nappy cake in a close fitting box and pad with foam chips, or crumpled paper, tissue etc. i have posted cakes out and they seem to arrive in as good a condition they left here in.
