I only paid £29.99 for this about a year ago, but it's still a great price, thanks.

I'm still using PSP ver 4! does anyone know if 9 is any good??? At the price on amazon it looks like a right bargain.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

10 is good as it has removal of digital noise, makes a big difference on high iso settings on the cameras that support that feature.

I wouldn't say v10 is worth the additional cost, especially with v9 at this price.

Yes, I've been using it in a semi-professional situation for the last 12 months.

Saw Paint Shop Pro version 10 ('X') in PC World for £49.99 a few days ago for comparison.

Yup - at that price now on their web site...
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:
  • Personally i wouldn't upgrade to version 10.. the ownership of Paintshop pro has moved to Corel, from the original creators Jasc. Corel (in my opinion) have a bit of a habit of breaking perfectly good programs, if anyone can remember Corel Draw they'll know what i'm talking about.

I use PSP8, i've tried PSP9 and wouldn't personally upgrade it further. If you need more functions, try getting plugins - it will perfectly accept adobe photoshop plugins.

Personally, i'd highly recommend this plugin: http://www.optikvervelabs.com/

It's free and makes ace black and white photos (nice and stylishy)

There is a world of difference between v4 and 9

CorelDraw was a perfectly good program in its early days with 1,2 and 3, but when they got to Version 4 (remember that fiasco?) they resolutely broke it big time and continued the downward trend from then on in.
