Equifax Report

Hi all,

just got a free equifax report... it has old accounts on it going back years ( all settled thankfully) how can I clean this up..... what does it mean

If they are all settled they will drop off 6 years after the last payment. If they were paid on time then they will count as good for you in credit terms. It will show lenders that you are responsible in paying back the credit.

If these are all settled, contact the people who you paid the debts back to and ask them for a settlement letter. You can then send this to equifax and they will put a statement of settlement on your account.

Thanks guys... a few "missed for a month or 3" a few years back prior to setting up a DD, just want it to be better looking.... want to move house in the next year.... aslo scary that I have 7 accounts on it in total
