Where can I buy a plastic rain cape in Croydon?

I've been hunting around for one of those plastic rain capes or poncho's. I am after the kind that the theme parks sell for their wet rides, ie the kind without sleeves, so it will fit over her clothes and over a rucksack on her back. I need it for my 11 year old daughter (so will probably need an adult size) within the next 3 weeks but I am having great difficulty finding one. Apart from the fact I have no plans to visit a theme park soon I was hoping to find one cheaper than they sell them(I believe they charge around £6.00). Ideally I can find one that would cost me a maximum of £2-£3 as it only has to last her for one weekend.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these please? I live in Croydon.

I have tried several pound shops/discount shops but could not find one. When I asked the staff for them they just looked at me as though I'm off another planet and then informed me they don't sell them! Someone must! I have even got my OH to try in some seaside shops whilst out visiting customers in and around the coast in the hope they might have them in stock for holidaymakers, but still no luck. I know its not exactly the holiday season yet but I thought maybe they might have had them. They all seem to sell rain hats so why not rain capes? I've been looking for weeks.
If anyone sees them on their travels (preferebly around Croydon area) I would be most grateful if they could let me know where please.

I can't comment on the Croydon area but you could try Asda.
My local branch has PVC Poncho's for sale (in the aisle with sporting equipment) at £2.47.
