Endowment Life cover

Anybody know aout Endowment life cover. When we got our endowment policy out 10 years ago it had a life insurance attached to it.
I paid off the motrgage six years ago does this also termnate the life cover or is it still in operation for the full original term of the mortgage which was for 25 years.
Do they take their carges like life premium fees out of the initial payments then once thats paid off put things into the mortgage fund.

If you are still paying the premiums for the policy, then you still have the investment running and the life cover in place.
If not, then it's likely the policy no longer exists.0
