SAD FART

Yesterday 17.12.04 on BBC Radio 2 Martin Lewis spoke about customer rights and referred to 'sadfart'. This delightful mnemonic stood for... 'satisfaction' and ended in 'reasonable time'. Unfortunately I missed the bit in between (I was driving). Please tell me what consumer rights sadfart stands for? The broadcast of his comments could not have been better timed as we have an issue with Lexmark who are adamant to charge us for service call that did not resolve the issue why they were called out - that leaves them in breach of ciontract. Their printed never worked right from the start!! and in hindsight we should have thrown the darned thing back at them and demanded a full refund. But we believed them when they said (again and again) that they could fully solve it. We've passed the point of correspondance and now arrived at debt collectors, it really would be nice to quote 'sadfart' to them. Many thanks for your speedy reply. Merry Christmas to y'all.

If you go to the GUIDES section you will see a full guide to consumer rights which explains sad fart. OR just put sad fart in the search box at the very top of the page and search the main site and you'll find it
