i wanna buy a new tumble dryer but not sure which one!help!

our beloved over used tumble dryer has bite the dust and my lovely mother has offered to get us a new one for our new baby present ( which i think is a great present!).
we have had a look in currys as this is local to us and my hubby can pick it up after work saving on del costs.
they have 2 dryers that caught our eye which vary quite a lot in price, my mother is happy to pay for either but i don't want to just get the more expensive one because i assume it's better. The currys guy was.. well as helpful as asking the dryer itself for help! he didn't seem to have a clue on the products and then kindly read the the bullet points on the front of the machine as his product knowledge just incase we couldn't read them ourselves!! so would anyone be kind enough to have a look over the specs and provide some advice?
i have googled both products and both seem to have good reviews.

The main thing that caught my eye was the sensor as this would be a great feature for us.

There was a thread on here recently about a tumble dryer - 50% off @ John Lewis with a two year guarantee- it also had a sensor - and had very good reviews
  • the Electrolux EDI96150W. yeah i found that thread but the link doesn't seem to be working and i can't seem to find it manually on John Lewis's website so think i missed out on this offer!?

Perhaps give John Lewis a call and try to get them to open it up for you.

Either way whatever you choose I would enter the item into Kelkoo - to see if you really are getting the best deal - also R Rated products with a scratch on the side which never shows is another way to get a bargain
