my OH was out of work for a while and when he found a new job the CSA got a court order to take the arrears directly from his wages, he had a letter in february to say that this would be fully paid off in april. when his may wages still had the arrears amount deducted we put it down to perhaps reading the letter wrong, now he has got his june wages and it has been deducted again, we have checked the letter and they have definitely now taken two extra payments to what they said! what can he do?

Well the first thing you need to do is phone them and find out what is going on.
If you have a payment schedule that says the arrears should have been collected by now point this out.
They didn't need to get a court order to take the money from his wages btw.0 -

Ring them and ask - they may need to send a new order out if the arrears are paid. His employer may have forgotten to change the deduction from his wages, so it's worth asking his payroll to dig out their copy of the order too, and check what they're taking is correct.0
