Cheap bedding?

I need:

1 v-shaped pillow cover (cheapest so far is £6 in Spinning Wheel)
1 king size synthetic-filling duvet (cheapest so far is £10 in Argos but the cover is polyester - is that bad?)
1 double bed memory foam mattress topper (cheapest so far is £46 in Spinning Wheel for 1 inch topper, no idea whether I need a thicker one)

Anyone able to help? Do I need a cotton-covered duvet????

The Tesco quilts are really warm.

As for the memory foam topper, try to find one that is 2" to 2.5" deep, and with a density of between 60 and 70kg per m3.

If the density or the depth is too low then it isn't worth having at any price.

Have you tried B&M Bargains? What you can't get there at a good price isn't worth listing. How did we manage before B&M?
