Ciao payment question

Hi,
I have just reached my first £5 for a while and notice that Ciao no longer offer bank payment, only Paypal.
Can anyone who has used their Paypal payment thing please tell me if I will incur PP charges - like you get with Quidco for instance. I'm really annoyed they only offer PP now as it costs to get the money out (under £50), and takes ages to wait for the money then transfer from PP to bank.
Thanks,
MrsB.

it depends on how they have set their side up. Lightspeed dont charge and i didnt get charged when transferring to account. it was £20 straight
.
i think ciao may say 'u may get charges depending on ur pp acc'.
mines premier , if that helps.0 -
Thanks for highlighting this Mrs Bartolozzi. I hadn't realised that you could only get paid by paypal now. I have been with ciao for a while however I just dabble now and then but have built up an amount worth claiming. Not sure what I can do now as I don't have a paypal account?
I usually avoid surveys that only offer paypal but when I joined ciao they were offering bank payment.0 -
i will need to check that as well. i have been with ciao since 2001 ish and used to rely on reviews to earn but they rarely pay on the stuff i want to review.
the surveys now tend to get are the "for this 25 minute survey you will be paid 10p" type which i just delete. i have got a normal and a premier pay pal account, neither of which are connected to ciao.2023 wins - zilch, nada, big fat duck. quack quack,0 -
Oooo just went nosying and noticed this as well ..Q: Will I lose my earnings if I forget to request a payment?
A: Once the earnings in your account have reached a minimum of £5, then you can request a payment whenever you like. However, if you do not log in to the website and/or participate in a survey at least once during a 6-month period, then your account balance will be set to zero. So please remember to log in regularly, which will also give you the chance to keep your profile up-to-date and increase the number of surveys to which you will be invited0 -
Ok just an update. I got the email this morning to say that Ciao had paid into my paypal account, and I was not charged for this payment. So all good, pity they had to restrict to PP payments but hey ho, at least my Ciao money came through quicker than Toluna vouchers do!
