    From Leeds nearest on East Coast Mainline would be Retford. Or could pick you up at Sheffield/Nottingham either could be roughly on the way - or I'll be driving past Birmingham.

    Course seeing as we've never met I'm hoping someone can vouch that I'll be safe in a car with you 3hours :p;)

    I will be installed ( prob with a Mrs Pepe ) in a rather nice room at the Mercure, Brigstow....by the waterfront i believe, didn't intend having such a nice place but it sort of happened when DS booked a weekend with his GF, then dumped her!! It was a 'non-alterable' booking ,but with a bit of persuasion....
    Be there Friday and Saturday nights.

    Yes, I'll be there on the 12th September
    I'll be at the Ramada Jarvis (also called the Ramada Plaza, not sure which is the most up to date name). The hotel club £30 offer has finished it seems so no way of fiddling that again :rolleyes: Cost me a bit more than I have paid in the past and was just under £50 inc. breakfast. I found a code by digging around and then went through quidco.

    Just realised this will be the first hotel i've stayed at:eek:

    and a quick search
    Ramada Plaza = £134 for 2 nights:eek: wheres the falling over stunned monkey smilie:eek:
