Offer of redress a fair figure?

Good evening to you all. May I ask for some advice please.

I have recently been offered a redress for a mis-sold endownment and was wondering if the amount was fair and reasonable in your eyes for the size and age of the endownment:

Basic sum assured = 11.7K
Life cover element/Target Amount = 38K
Start Date = Apr 91
Matrurity Date = Mar 15
Monthly Premium = 47.06
Redress Offer = 3360

I am not sure of the calculations involved so I couldn't even hazard a guess if this is about right. Anybody out there know better? Please let me know if more info is required.

Thanking you in anticipation :T

  • Hi again,

I'm replying to myself to move my question back to the top. As I'm new to the board, not sure if I've asked incorrectly, these types of questions are not answered or simply nobody is interested.

Thanks for reading anyway and have a good weekend
