awww pooky Fab cake! but how on earth will you be able to cut it!!! lol!

I have blown my £100 on clothes in 2009 budget. Just spent £20 on a pair of cropped jeans, tried on several pairs, got a nice neat pair of almost bleached light blue denim, just below the knee jobs... tried on others but they made me look a bit squat and ended in the middle of my calf somewhere... too boho for me, i don't do surfer chic obviously!

They were a 14 from M&Co, so are a tight-ish fit, should be able to wear them forever as even if i lose this last 1.5stone they are in no danger of falling down... i'm thinking of them as an investment!

As it's payday, i've been paying bills off.... i had a buy now pay feb on my tumble drier, which i am determined to pay off before then to avoid interest, so chucked £30 at it... i've not listed it as a debt, as it's not a bad debt or a biggie...

i also bought some shoes from simply be, which was an empty credit account, so i paid them off today...

something so satisying about paying off the bills in full... i love ticking them off my post-it note in my diary each month. That is something i never ever did preMSE....

This month i'm trying something new money-wise. To budget for petrol, my diet food purchase each week (5 more weeks only i hope) and horse riding lessons for Erin, all out of my wage as well... so i can view the money i get thru the month (i.e. family allowance and tax credits, however much they will result in, i don't know. waiting on the review.) as my safety net... rather than living off it for the weekly expenses....

on paper i should be able to do this... but in reality it never works and i always end up using my friday money to live off.......
