NRP moved to Germany-CSA closed case-need advice

Hi, has anyone come accross my situation where the NRP moved abroad for a temp contract(in this case 2 years)? In my effort to get the CSA to help me, I was told by the CSA that they would 'keep the case open' in order to be in a position to chase arrears when he returned to UK. Great I thought, that sounded fair. My daughter is 14 and this has had a HUGE impact on her, emotionally and financially.

I have been so NAIVE! I have nothing in writing from the CSA, and was stupid enough to believe everything said to me by them over the phone.

The problem is now....11 months later the CSA have pulled the plug on me "because I informed them that he is no longer resident in the UK, they are withdrawing the case"! Can you believe this, I've been passed from piller to post with the CSA during the last year.

I have written to my MP and that seems to have kicked some butt, as I got a call from the CSA in Dudley last night to say they are 'looking into my complaint' and will respond within 15 days (in writing, finally)

I have come to terms with not receiving CS, I know the CSA hands are tied because he lives outside of their legal jurisdiction, all I asked of the CSA is that they keep my case 100% open so that when this LOW LIFE NRP moves back to the country, he has to pay up arrears.

Any advice would be very greatfully appreciated. Have I done enough?

Kat

Are you 100% sure he is beyond their remit ? Just because he is abroad that doesn't always mean he is. Is the company paying him British ?

Hiya, I've done my checks, he is being paid in Germany - saying that.... I was told by the CSA that they would check with Inland Rev after he was out of the country for 13 weeks.

After all I've read about the CSA, I'm going to call them today and ask them to confirm in writing that they did indeed do this vital check.

I've researched the company he works at, and from what I can gather they are indeed based in Germany (Crytek in Frankfurt) and therefore out of CSA jurisdiction.

    Thanks for your interest/advice.
