I went for Badge by Cream
Thinkin bout the times you drove in my car
Thinkin that I might have drove you too far.
And I'm thinkin bout the love that you laid on my table.
I told you not to wander round in the dark.
I told you bout the swans, that they live in the park.
Then I told you bout our kid, now he's married to Mabel.0 -

I went for 'Up the Junction' by Squeeze...
I got a job with Stanley
He said I'd come in handy
And started me on Monday
So I had a bath on Sunday

If you see it in your mind, you're going to hold it in your hand.
Thoughts become things!
What you think about you bring about!
No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it.

:rotfl:Good job you didn't choose the Killers, its "Are we human? or are we Denser?" which does make more sense, although i thought it was dancers for ages:rotfl:
"what she gonna look like with a Chimney on her?" - Tamperer featuring MayaCrossing off my Bucket List. Not going to wait for a nod from the Doctor!!0 -

Found this though which hopefully explains the lyrics.
On the band's official website, the biography section states
that Flowers is singing "Are we human, or are we dancer?" and
also says that the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging
comment made by Hunter S. Thompson about how America was raising
a generation of dancers.
HTHor maybe just confuses you even more

Misheard lyrics, lol. My fave is 'A year has passed since I broke my nose' (Message in a bottle - The Police). Cracks me and my kids up every time we hear it:D:D
('A year has passed since I wrote my note' just ain't the same:p)0 -
