Hi
I've just discovered this evening that someone has hacked into my accounts with GTM and lightspeed. With GTM they've changed my password and several lines of my address. With Lightspeed they just changed several lines of my address. The two addresses used are different. I use a web-based email to run those survey accounts. I've done a lot of comping the last few months and am wondering if someone dodgy got hold of my DOB and email from a comp.
I don't really care that someone was trying to nick a £10 voucher or whatever. I am just really worried as this means that someone now has my phone number, address, date of birth etc. Does anyone know what kind of problem this is likely to expose me to ie can they use this info to open bank accounts etc and is there anything I can do about it? I can't exactly change my DOB.

Is there any way to e mail GTM and Lightspeed and ask them how someone would have got access? that is a bit worrying.
Re opening bank accounts etc, well I would be worried, but then I do worry alot!
I would tell the police and ask their advice and I would also do a credit rating check and see if anything new has been opened?
hope its all ok.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
If your GTM account has been changed to "Northamptonshire, Lytham St Annes" then it's not been hacked into it's GTM that seem to have done that to most people's accounts... not sure about the password thing though2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
2013: £134.960
