If we're talking on salary multiples, probably not. I think it is only about 3.5 salary, which with only 10% deposit leaves you with a shortfall. However, you would be best visiting a whole of market broker for advice.Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get a mortgage, I believe the max mortgage is a 5x salary mortgage but i think these are more rare these days. It would also depend on whether you have a deposit too, obviously the more deposit the more it will help your cause.

a few years ago when i applied for a loan i had only been in my new job a few months and they declind me because i hadn't been in the same job more than 6 months. I had to get my employer to write to them to back up my application and it was referred and thankfully they accepted me. I think all lenders have different criteria and the only way you will find out if you give it a go. You might also be a low credit scoreing because you haven't had much credit to show lenders if you are a good in paying the agreement back.
