10 year old debt was a CCJ i didnt know

I am may be jumping the gun but I have heard of creditors making people bankcrupt and I fear that the one who has crawled out of the woodwork in the last month may attempt it with me, I am married but only I would be made bankcrupt.

If we have negative equity in the property in joint names will we lose our house?

We have two cars on finance in joint names that are a necessity for work on HP, will we lose them? and if so how will we manage?

Will we lose personal possessions?

What happens to items that we purchased though a catalogue that we havnt finished paying for yet?

They have a CCJ? Is it real, as its funny they have given you 21 days to pay a reduced amount (exactly the time given for you to answer a CCJ form

ALSO Once a CCJ has been granted then the only additional charges that can be applied are Bailiff fees for non payment????

This doesn't make sense to me, I am sure they are not intitlrd to add interest after the date of CCJ being granted. Plus if you never received the judgment can you not approach the court and tell them thus, ask for the judgement to be set aside or some thing like that, sorry to new to remember what it is but I think the courts look at it again.
Don't ignore this go to the courts and speak with them, show them the paperwork

Ring the court & ask them if interest can be charged, they are usually quite helpful.
Dont worry about them asking about payment, its not their problem.

I would definately do as RAS suggested - call nationaldebtline.
If the CCJ was not enforced for within 6 years then they need the court's permission to enforce the debt. They will need to argue a good case to say why they have not collected it in the last 9 years.

If you are worried about the interest, then the courts should be able to assist, but i would definately get NDL's opinion on this.
