Mortgage multiples - bonuses?

Options
Can anyone let me know what the typical treatment is these days for bonuses when arranging mortgages?

In a situation where a bonus forms a substantial part of earnings (let's say 40%) and has been consistently awarded, would it be at all countable towards mortgage funds availability?

Each company looks at this differently as bonuses are not guaranteed. What most companies will ask for, is that you supply them with at least the last 3 years of your P60's. They will then take the average of this and this will be your salary.

Some idiot companies use to take one years worth of p60. Laughable but true. These are companies which have been taking over by the government or by some massive banking group. They have now tightened control and would expect the above.
