remortgaging while on benefits

Our mortgage special offer capped rate is due to run out shortly but since we have been with this building society my husband has become disabled and we are now on benefits.

Would we be accepted onto another discounted rate? Or is it best to just keep quiet and let them put us onto their normal rate?

Any advice gratefully received!

You should be able to simply move onto anothe rof their deals without too much fuss - give them a call and ask them what deals they could offer rather than going on to their SVR rate

Phone them up & ask for a mortgage review & they should be able to outline any discount deals that are available to you. Being on sickness benefits won't be an issue.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
