Microwave - stainless interior and manual dial

Hi - I need a new microwave and would ideally like a stainless steel interior as last 2 have gone rusty. I would also like it to have basic manual controls not complicated digital version to enable kids to use it.
I only ever used for warming and defrosting...has anyone got any recommendations please

I'm don't think you'll get a stainless steel interior in a basic manual control microwave.

We wanted s/s interior in a digital one and ended up buying a Panasonic microwave/grill/oven combi for just about £100 as it was the only one we could find at the time for the price. I've only used the microwave bit but I suppose the oven might come in useful sometime.

I'm with TomsMom- don't think you would get a basic model with a stainless steel interior.

I guess your children are of sensible age for you to allow them to use a microwave?
So i'm sure they will manage digital controls- mine gave me a lesson- along with showing me how to use the remote control, computer etc; kids these days a very switched on to new technology.

Think my 3 year old could work our microwave given half the chance!!:rolleyes:

Kids are 16, 14 - but don't want to bother with all that weighing the food etc...just want defrost and full power..
Maybe found a niche in the market

yep, you def need turn 'n' go- they can't manage anything more complicated in between txtin'/MSN/hours locked in bathroom...

If you have the time to design one for this 'niche' market- i'll be your first customer- hope to see 'ya in the Dragons Den some day soon...:rotfl:
