Moving Boxes - Where can I find the best deal?

The time has come to move house, this time around we will put everything in storage and take a well deserved holiday. In the past I have picked up random boxes from grocery stores, but most tend to have holes for fruit, or they are very small.

As our things will go into a storage uniit, I think I will need to purchase boxes this time so that sizes will be more uniform and easier to pack and stack. I am looking for the best deal available. Most places seem to charge around £1 a box which is excessive considering the number of boxes I will need (perhaps 50 or so - I have many books .

Can anyone recommend an excellent deal on moving boxes?

edit: I am looking for average size boxes for storage approximately 400mm x 310mm x 310mm ( 16" x 12" x 12" )

Might be worth asking on freecycle first? If you're lucky, someone else may have moving boxes spare...

Thanks, I have posted a few freecycle sites, but haven't heard back from anyone.

Any advice on purchasing boxes? Any amazing deals out there?
