Running a draw / competition

I was thinking about running a draw in an attempt to get more people talking more on my forum. Is there any guidelines I should be aware of ? I was thinking along the lines of register on the forum, post 5 times and be entered into a draw to win (x) amount of vouchers or magazine subscription worth (x) amount .. that sort of thing.
EDIT ... There would be no charge to enter.

The forum host may have guidelines. You may also want to think this through a bit more. Does posting anything get you entered in the free draw? Posting “Good idea….”, “I agree with this…” doesn’t seem a lot to say to get a free draw entry.0

It's my own website that runs the forum so no problems there and nothing mentioned in webhosting terms.
I see what you mean about the posting but I'm thinking that once more people join and get talking then the content will expand quite easily.0
