The aftermath

My 6 years of being in the financial wilderness finally ended last wednesday, 20th.. I have a few potential issues though... 1. Got my voters card in, the address on the front is nothing like what my current creditors have, and also what royal mail have me listed as... I live in a Ground floor flat, G/L to be precise.. Royal mail list my building by letters A-F, thus making G/L non existant! My local council have me as flat G01, and the voting people have me as Flat Ground/1.. so as you can see I have 4 potential addresses!! not helpful for my credit file is it! Q. Does anyone know the best way to get this rectified? Or whether to put some kind of correction notice on my credit files? 2. Secondly, My previous pre-bankruptcy creditors may have me defaulting my accounts after my bankruptcy order date (this I am awaiting to check on my reports) - Does the declaration of bankruptcy date stand as the master default date for all creditors? Id like to know so I can get my file cleaned up asap.. Ive spent the last couple of years with Vanquis and monument and quite fancy the thought of having a normal APR again!! Lastly, Ive been declined recently for car finance, is there any other factors apart from the ones above that may have caused the decline? I have paid all creditors via Direct debit for the past 3 years and havent got any late payments, etc.. Your answers greatfully appreciated

Your BR date would be the ultimate date and all the creditors should note a date no later than that for default date and it should say settled. See the clean up sticky on front page of this forum.

Got my credit reports in, both dated after my 6 years were up, still loads of BR related defaults.... thought they'd automatically expire off my report?
Anyway all my previous misdemeanours are on there... along with incorrect default dates..
Who is responsible for updating the credit files? the CRA's or the Debt recovery agents?
thanks for your help0 -
Have a look at the credit file stick - it tells you how to go about it. You have to write to the creditors who show incorrect information and try and get them to correct it. How far off are they?
