quick letter to ombudsman re HFC complaint.

could someone take a quick look at this and give a verdict? Not sure of its over simple, condescending etc.

Further to your recent correspondence and my conversation with your colleague, please find enclosed a copy of my credit report from Experian showing a default registered against the credit card relating to the above complaint. I do not believe this default should not have been registered whilst this complaint was ongoing.

I have also received correspondence from First Credit regarding repayment, despite informing them of the dispute. I believe this to be in breach of OFT debt collection guidelines and recent sanctions set against them by the OFT.

Make sure that you include copies of all relevant letters.

You should, on your letter, mention the time of your phone call and, if you remember, the name of the person you spoke with.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Unfortunately, cant remember who I spoke to at FOS (or when:o)

However, have copies of all relevant letters re FOS/1st Credit/HFC etc. and all in chronological order
