having a string trio for during ceremony and signing, they will play during pre-dinner canapes and bubbly too.
ceremony at 2pm and they need to set up at 1.45 for that.dinner is served at 5pm and they should be away before that.
just noticed today my contract says 2 hours and I thought I had booked them for 3.Do you think 2 hours is long enough or do I need to get them to stay for an additional hour,as it is they will be packing up at 3.45 and we dont sit down to dinner until 5pm.I suppose the in-between time could be for people to freshen up or relax before dinner. Will they need to or want to ?
Dilemmas!
What do you think?
Could shuffle the timings, ceremony can be a bit later so theres no gaps and I won,t need to pay for another hour of music?

I wouldn't bother. You'll find that peolple will tend to drift away from the music anyway after a while, as they'll want to spend time chatting. Two hours should be plenty.0
