joint loan info please

hi i was wondering if any one could help me regarding being on a joint loan, basically i felt persured into do this with an ex, we were together at the time unfortunatly but he has lied and lied and is in loads of debt it went to pay off loans and credit cards he had but he didint tell me that he had more debt on credit cards he has at the mo 6k on one and about 7k on another and a 20k loan which is the one im talking about it comes out of his account and i dont make any payment to it, the problem is now i cant get him out my house (as i let him stay as i felt sorry for him) he gives me 300 a month as rent type thing but i want him gone as its to stressful but if i throw him out he has said he wont pay the loan leaving me to have to pay it which i cant do as i have a mortgage that i can just about pay at the mo, i have asked the bank to get off it but they have said he has to apply for it in his sole name which he has done twice but they have said come back when u have pd 2 yrs which is in aug but as things are so bad betwen us i dont think he will do it now as he knows he will not b living here if it wasnt for the loan. any advice please.

My sympathies too but you are stuck either with him until the loan is paid or you throw him out and you pay the loan.
