Cheapest network for roaming in Ireland? Calls and internet

Since Three are ending their free roaming I need to get a new phone package that has good roaming rates. Would be nice to use the internet on my phone too while roaming.
We have also got a Three mobile broadband dongle for our netbook which is handy for travelling down south so also need to find a cheap solution for roaming with our laptop. I'm not sure if it's worth looking at southern packages too.

Thanks ballyblack. That's one of the deals I was looking at. It's a good deal for voice calls, maybe we could stitch to them for the summer? Probably better for someone who is definately going to be on Vodafon longer term though. I'm not sure I can be doing with all the messing around with pac codes twice for both of us!
We ideally need to find a long term deal (12 months or more) and preferably one that includes mobile internet.

I understand. There will probably be a spate of these temporary deals to poach customers, hoping to keep them when the deal finishes?

Not sure if its ideal for you as you would need to ask instore about the mobile internet but voda's 30 day sim only contract offers unlimited texts and 600 any network/UK landline mins for £20 a month, its no notice for cancelling so might be of use for short term whilst free roaming is available.
