I am an Energy Assessor. I provide Energy performance Certificates for landlords and Hip for house sellers. I am constantly being asked by Landlords do I know gas fitter who do gas safety checks, or electricians who do electric tests, which landlords have to have every year. Because I am asked so often I contacted quite a few electricians and gas fitters, explaining that I was putting an information pack together for my clients that would give them information of useful contacts. Of the 20 of so companies I contacted only 1 got back to me. I was considering charging £20 every 6 months and the company supplies flyers/business cards. I am still getting asked for info, but cannot provide information. Anybody got any ideas on how to get companies interested?
