Murder is about to be committed in Valliland...
I have a damp teenager coming into the kitchen to get water ACROSS A FLOOR I MOPPED THIS MORNING my garden is COVERED with waterbombs and I am losing it....
and now he has stripped off all bar wet socks and pants and walked through the houseDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Lilysue - it's Half Hour Planning for us teachers that (like me) have left everything til the last day of the holidays
pigpen - nice work on the erectionI want some bunnies
valli - have some    for DS
I did a bit in my 2 x HHPs but had to stop for a bit as my eyes were going wonky staring at the screen, and then next door lit a BBQ so I've had to go and rescue the washing! Still loads to do so think I'll be dipping in and out of it for the rest of the day; concentration is only working in short bursts today "There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Thanks Froddie ~ well I joined in the spirit of school preparation as in my hour I sorted out uniforms paired up all the odd socks etc to make tomorrow easier for us all.
Also unloaded and re-loaded dishwasher, hung out another load of washing, put another on and washed my hair
And the washing of my hair is why it's taken me a while to get back to the computer. I bought an environmentally friendly shampoo off ebay, from a woman who says she is an aromatherapists who makes them herself....well the ingredients on the bottle are just palm oil, coconut oil and a few essential oils selected by me, plus a leaflet is included saying the first few times you use it your hair will be slightly oilier than normal but eventually it will sort itself out.....not going to get that far I'm afraid, it was like gloop, smelt exactly like BioD toliet cleaner if you have ever used it, and coated my bath and me in oil. Only other shampoo in the house was baby shampoo, just washed my hair three times with that, still a bit oily but think I can live with it....................... okay rant over, I'm obviously going to have to stick with conventional type shampoos:D0 -
oh good grief
when DS started messing I warned him that I will need the bucket as our water is going off at 9pm so I'll have a bucket in the bathroom, filled, ready for loo flushing. But no - he filled it with water fight carp and appeared to have totally forgotten I'll need it later even though he was warned...
I really don't intend to be rushing round like a mad woman at 8.55 pm...
Note to self - fill kettle and have water ready for toothbrushing in case what comes through in the morning is not clear...
and then it's going off again on Tuesday at 9 am... think my mum might be inviting kids to tea at hers;)
Lily that 'shampoo' appears to be entirely lacking in detergent ingredients - sounds more like a conditioner.
I'm having a :coffee: - anyone else?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Please can I have some flylady vibes for my little sister (she's 28 so not that little!). Her baby's due Tues but she ended up going into hosp this morning - very high bp (usually v low) and suspected pre-ecampsia. They are apparently about to induce her. I'm hundreds of miles away
I know flylady vibes work!!

Rach - it will be fine - it is fairly common, and her baby is ready to come out anyway. I had it with DS1 and was in for weeks in a ward with lots of other mums to be in the same condition, I was induced as soon as I got to 36 weeks. Even the one who went into full eclampsia at 28 weeks had the baby by c section and both are ok. If they are remotely worried they will do a c section and then treat your sister as soon as the baby is out. Everything crossed for you all. Easy labour vibes for her as well in case they do a normal induction.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
