I have to say what a fantastic website https://www.moonpig.com is. There are some really funny cards on there which you can adapt to your circumstances. I have just ordered a mothers day one for my mum, and her name is on it. There are loads of scenarios on there (I had trouble which one to choose!). At £2-99 + 35p postage, I thought it wasn't too bad really. Order before 2pm tomorrow and it gets sent first class so should be with your mum on the Saturday (in theory, should be there on the Friday, but I got mine delivered to my home address so that I could give it in person to my mum on Sunday...just in case!). There is a discount code on the pricedash.com website, but I couldnt get it to work. I have e-mailed them so if I get a new code, I will post it on the voucher codes thread.
